Myth-Stories for the Modern World

An Evening with the Divine Feminine

Women’s Circle

In-person events

VILLAGE HALL, MAIN STREET, NEWTON OF FALKLAND, FIFE, KY15 7QX

Step into a reflective and welcoming space where ancient myth and modern life gently meet.

These women’s circles offer an opportunity to pause, gather and reconnect through storytelling, contemplation and shared reflection. Each evening centres around a different feminine archetype drawn from myth, history, spirituality and symbolic traditions - including goddesses, saints, priestesses and other enduring feminine figures.

Through myth-storytelling and contemplative exploration, we reflect on how these archetypal stories continue to speak into the emotional, relational and creative experiences of women today.

These are not simply stories from the past. They are symbolic mirrors that can help us explore themes such as courage, grief, identity, creativity, boundaries, compassion, transformation, belonging and renewal within our own lives.

The circles are gently held spaces for reflection - offering time to listen, contemplate and connect within a supportive community of women.

What to Expect

  • A welcoming and supportive circle environment

  • Reflective myth-storytelling inspired by feminine archetypes

  • Gentle contemplation and guided reflection

  • Opportunities for optional sharing and connection

  • Space to pause, slow down and reconnect away from daily busyness

  • Thoughtful exploration of themes relevant to women’s emotional and inner lives

At the heart of these circles is the understanding that stories help us make meaning of our experiences. By engaging with myth, symbolism and archetype, we begin to recognise aspects of ourselves reflected back through these timeless feminine figures - reminding us that many of our struggles, strengths and longings are deeply human and widely shared.
